Original Abstract

The work is focused on the imaging of selected hydrogels using FLIM analysis and subsequent modification in the specialized software. The simplest way is to use nanoparticles with a specific diameter, where one FLIM image is created for each particle size. Thanks to the z-scan and the selected program, there is possible to convert these images into a 3D structure. Unfortunately, it is not possible to measure exactly the pore size by this measurement, so it has no informative value, but only allows visualization of the actual structure of the hydrogel. For a more accurate analysis, nanoparticles of different sizes and colours were selected, which could be used in one experiment at a time. They make it possible to track sites of varying pore sizes within a single experiment.
