Original Abstract

In this paper the Czech optimization state-of-the-art, new code system development goals and OPAL optimization system are briefly mentioned. The algorithms, maths, present status and future developments of the ATHENA code are described. A calculation exercise of the Dukovany NPP cycles, on increased power using ATHENA, starting with on-coming 24th cycle (303 FPD) continuing with 25th (322 FPD), and 26th (336 FPD); for all cycles KR≤1.54 is presented.
