Original Abstract

The ability of scanning and reconstruction of photoacoustic images is an important requirement to study soft tissues or vascular and lymphatic systems in high resolution but in a small space. In recent years scanning speed has become fast enough while reconstruction time takes a significant part of the whole process. In this work, we are focusing on optimization and acceleration of the photoacoustic reconstruction written in the Matlab and invoked from the LabVIEW environment.
