Original Abstract

This paper deals with the types of blood pumps drives used for long terms use as a laboratory total artificial heart system or ventricular assist devices. The presented systems are typical samples of systems designed and tested in cooperation with Medicine Faculty of the Brno Masaryk University and Victor Kaplan Department of Fluid Engineering, Brno University of Technology.
