Original Abstract

Druhá generace evropské harmonizované normy EN 14023 bude nově obsahovat postup, pomocí kterého bude možné hodnotit funkční vlastnosti asfaltových pojiv. Obdobně jako v případě metodiky výkonnostních tříd (Performance Grade – PG), vyvinuté v rámci amerického výzkumného programu SHRP, bude tento nový přístup využívat měření v dynamickém smykovém reometru. Nebudou se ovšem stanovovat výkonnostní třídy, ale charakteristické teploty (T1 až T4), které by měly vypovídat o teplotní citlivosti a změnách viskoelastických vlastností daných pojiv. V článku je provedeno srovnání teplot T1 až T4 šesti polymerem modifikovaných asfaltů, silničního asfaltu a asfaltu modifikovaného pryžovým granulátem se zvýšenou viskozitou.

English abstract

The second generation of the European harmonized standard EN 14023 will now include a procedure for assessing the performance characteristics of bituminous binders. Similar to the Performance Grade (PG) methodology developed in the US research program SHRP, this new approach will utilize dynamic shear rheometer. However, the performance classes will not be determined, but the characteristic temperatures (T1 to T4) that should indicate the temperature sensitivity and visco-elastic properties changes of the binders. The paper compares temperatures T1 to T4 of six polymer modified bitumens, one paving bitumen and one crumb rubber modified bitumen with increased viscosity.
