Original Abstract

This paper characterizes the Toplo river basin in terms of river network density and the numbering system of watercourses in the Czech Republic. The density of the river network is a characteristic evaluated for the whole catchment area of the Upper Toplo, while further investigated parameters will be classified with respect to individual sub-catchment areas of the area under investigation.
