Original Abstract

The cross-sections of 186 W(n,γ) 187 W and 182 W(n,p) 182 Ta reactions at the average neutron energies (E n ) of 10.72±0.95, 14.72±0.86 and 18.72±0.93 MeV were measured by using activation and off-line γ-ray spectrometric technique. The measured cross-sections were compared with the available literature data as well as calculated values using TALYS-1.S and EMPIRE-3.2.2 codes. To validate the present experimental results, different Level Density models in TALYS-1.S and EMPIRE-3.2.2 codes were used for theoretical calculations. The measured cross sections are in good agreement with evaluated data and also with theoretical predictions.
