Original Abstract

The aim of this article is to outline the research process that will be driven by small and medium-sized enterprises operating in the automotive industry as a car dealers or as other nonproductive works. The aim is schedule and planning of individual parts of the research, including to define the main research questions. The scientific aim to upcoming research is to define a system of key performance indicators, which will be applicable to all small and medium-sized enterprises in the Czech Republic operating in the selected sector.
