Tento díl seriálu s tunely na pohlednicích se již po několikáté vrací do Rakouska. Ze země tunelům zaslíbené uvádí především čtyři pohlednice s tunely železničními. Jeden z nich, nacházející se na Rittner Bahn (Ferrovia del Renon), však dnes v Rakousku již neleží, a to přestože byl v Rakousko-Uhersku postavený. To proto, že od roku 1919 oblast Jižního Tyrolska náleží k Itálii jako Alto Adige. Další tři tunely na pohlednicích lze považovat za silniční, když jeden z nich (tunel Františka Josefa u Traunsee) přísně vzato již neexistuje. Poslední pohlednice potom připomíná velmi zajímavé podzemní prostory „Katakomb“ v Salzburgu.

English abstract

This part of the series with tunnels on picture postcards returns again to Austria. It fi rst of all presents four picture postcards with railway tunnels from the tunnelling Promised Land. One of them is located on the Rittner Bahn (Ferrovia del Renon), but it is today no more located in Austria, despite the fact that it was constructed in Austria-Hungary. The reason is that the area of South Tyrol has belonged to Italia as Alto Adige since 1919. Other three tunnels on the picture cards can be considered to be road tunnels, when one of them (the Franz Josef tunnel at Traunse), strictly speaking, no longer exists. The last picture postcard is reminiscent of the very interesting underground spaces of the Catacombs in Salzburg.
