Original Abstract

In this paper we propose a new concept of blind separated signals evaluation. Blind separated signals are recovered independent sources obtained from their mixtures using methods of convolutive independent component analysis. These methods have no information about the original sources and the mixing process. The proposed concept in this paper tries to measure the hit rate of the source restoration by means of the discrete word intelligibility using a speech recognition system. The recognition results for a case of two mixed signals are shown here.
