Original Abstract

There are different ways to drive a nonlinear system by fuzzy controller. If a fuzzy model well represents the system then an optimal controller can be used. In the case of uncertain parameters it should be used either a robust controller, which is not optimal or an adaptive control algorithm that is usually complicated and difficult to implement. The method presented in this paper brings another possibility. The robust controller is interpolated with an optimal one according to a model validity appreciation. This method increases the performance of the control process and also maintains robustness. Design of robust and optimal fuzzy controller is based on solving LMIs.
