Original Abstract

This paper deals with the permanent magnet assisted synchronous reluctance machine analytical model. Firstly the basic analytical model is given and later the suggested improvements are built in. The proposed improved model improves accuracy of calculated torque and taking into account the shape of the flux-barriers. The improved model also considers a nonlinear iron behavior with the iron ribs saturation according to the material properties. All improved models were calculated and the results are compared hereafter.
