Original Abstract

The article deals with dielectric studies of aging phenomena in commercially used high-temperature mica insulations. The objective of the analysis was to examine whether the electrical breakdown, which is a pronounced localized event, is preceded by changes of bulk material properties-frequency and temperature dependence of the complex permittivity.
