Original Abstract

This paper special aspects of material behavior occurring in textile reinforced concrete. Using a consistent modeling strategy combining models at the micro- meso- and macro level we are able to illuminate the correspondence between the local changes in the material structure and the overall performance. In several parametric studies we evaluate the effect of the heterogeneity in the microstructure of the yarn and in the bond layer for the response at the meso- and macro level. Finally we show an application of the modeling for the development of textile reinforced cementitious composite with better performance.
