Original Abstract

Evaluation of fatigue fracture mechanical parameters goes hand in hand with modern material science, developing new building materials and construction design. Modified compact tension test (MCT) is considered as very effective test configurations, especially in case of quasi brittle materials (as concrete). It is still quite new and needs to be investigated properly. The aim of this paper is to evaluate material characteristics connected with Paris-Erdogan law, in range of two-parameter fracture mechanics. Several specimens were submitted to MCT test and the outputs are processed using polynomials provided in previous authors’ publications. The influence of the size of the grain will be also discussed.
