Original Abstract

2012 is the Year of international Co-operatives, the spirit of co-operation is symbolized by the seven pairs of the tools of visual arts, e.g. pencils and erasers, clay tools and color plates, etc.. They are put side around the center, it signifies the right tool for co-ordination will complement each other to create a dazzing brilliance, to the same effect as flowers in full bloom, and fireworks in display. The intention of seven pairs echoes the Bible referring to God using seven days to create the Heavens and the Earth. Dotted line below signifies the transcendence from the ground, and then shines just like blossom blooms and fireworks sets off. Designer: Ms Lau Ching Yi, PLK Wu Chung College
