Original Abstract

Kniha "Poutník" je cestovatelská próza, vydána u příležitosti odhalení sochařského monumentu “Poutník” na kopci Baba v Sedlištích - v rodné obci autora. Název knihy a sousoší je inspirován básní Petra Bezruče věnované tomuto místu. Jedná se zatím o jednu kapitolu budoucí knihy o více kapitolách. Kniha popisuje cestu do Brazílie, spojenou s realizací sochy Amazonia a poté cestování v Amazonských pralesech a v mnoha dalších místech této jihoamerické země.

English abstract

The book "The Pilgrim" is a travel prose published on the occasion of the sculpture monument "The Pilgrim" on Baba Hill in Sedliště - in the native village of the author. The book's title and sculpture is inspired by the poetry of Petr Bezruč dedicated to this place. This is yet another chapter of a future book with several chapters. The book describes travelling to Brazil, connected with the realization of the Amazonia statue, and then traveling in the Amazonian rainforest and many other places in this South American country.
