Abstract

The modulator driver design is a part of the Laser Head for Gravitational Wave Observatory Mission. The EM model is a final result of phase 2. The device couples two input signals, harmonic sine wave at frequency around 2.4 GHz and pseudorandom data sequence of at most 1 Mbaud bit-rate. Such a signal is used as a modulation signal for an electrooptical modulator of laser beam. To fulfill the requirements on output laser beam spectrum, the driver must set levels of the input signals precisely.
