Original Abstract

Durability, sustainability of quasi-brittle materials is getting more into an interest of civil engineers. Therefore it is necessary to find out test method that could be used on core drill specimen and give us information about behavior under the mixed mode. For evaluation of concrete fracture properties, fracture toughness, compliance function, values of double-K model etc., the calibration curves are used. The contribution is focused on numerical model of Brazilian disc specimen with notch. Numerical models are prepared by using finite element s software ANSYS.
