Od svého objevu má STM značný dopad na materiálové vědy, fyziku polovodičů, biologii, elektrochemii, tribologii, biochemii, termodynamiku povrchů, organickou chemii, a pod. Přednáška přináší přehled různých technik a měřicích metod.

English abstract

Since its invention, the Scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) has made a dramatic impact in fields as diverse as material sciences, semiconductor physics, biology, electrochemistry, tribology, biochemistry, surface thermodynamics, organic chemistry, etc. An overview of different techniques and methods of measurement is presented.
