Original Abstract

The goal of this work is to generate a finite element model of human ear, which includes cavity of outer ear, middle ear cavity with ossicle chain and cochlea with inner membrane system. Harmonic analysis (system Ansys 7.1) in the frequency range from 100Hz to 10 kHz was applied on this model to determinate the relation between pressure on eardrum and the velocity of stapes footplate. The pressure values in outer, middle and inner ear and the velocity of stapes were studied.
