Original Abstract

This contribution introduces a new testing criteria for performance of parameter estimation methods mainly used in biomedical domain processing, but not bounded to this particular field only. Proposed methods are related to signals described by sum of harmonic components damped in time, typically for NMR (Nuclear magnetic resonance) signals. Testing criteria are important tool for comparing robustness, usability and noise filtering of new developed algorithms with each other. We refer to four criteria such as: Test for parameter estimation at close signal peaks, at low Signal to noise ratio, at high count of peaks and at high dynamic of harmonic components.
