Original Abstract

In todays world, it is still necessary to easily access accurate information. Aeronautical information shall be made available quickly for safety reasons and must simultaneously maintain their accuracy. Todays system is introduced in paper form, the paper form is integrated and than interpreted according to the needs of different categories of users. In this paper form each time there are the risks of data loss and their consistency and integrity. This can compromise the safety and this data can not be accepted. In future applications, there are aeronautical data with a high level of integrity. The concept of AIXM is the model for the exchange of aeronautical information in digital form. Model AIXM is important for use in aviation, where the trend is to transmit information not only on paper but increasingly also in the electronic version. When transferring data in this form it is very appropriate to limit the transmitted data only on current information, since the capacity of the transmission channel is limited. Therefore, it is beneficial to use compression of AIXM. This article is focused on XML compression and describes created compression tool for AIXM. Tool uses lossy and lossless compression methods. Generally, the lossless compression used in tool saves about 90% of the total size input file. When combined with lossy compression is expected to achieve even better results.

V dnešním světě, je stále nezbytné, aby byl snadný přístup k přenášené informaci. Letecké informace musí být přístupné k dispozici nejenom rychle, ale musí byt zachovaná jejich přesnost z bezpečnostních důvodů. Dnešní systém je zaveden v tištěné podobě. Informace v papírové podobě jsou interpretovaný podle potřeby různých kategorií uživatelů. V této papírové podobě vznikají rizika ztráty konzistence a integrity dat. To může ohrozit bezpečnost, a proto tato data nemohou být přijaty. V budoucích aplikacích, se předpokládají letecké data s vysokou úrovní integrity. AIXM je model pro výměnu leteckých informací v digitální podobě. Model AIXM je důležitý pro použití v letectví, kde je trend k přenosu informací nejen na papíře, ale stále více také v elektronické verzi. Při přenosu dat v této formě je velmi vhodné omezit přenášená data pouze na aktuální informace, protože kapacita přenosového kanálu je omezena. Z tohoto důvodu je výhodné použít kompresi AIXM dat. Tento článek je zaměřen na kompresi XML a popisuje vytvořený nástroj pro kompresy aeronautických dat ve formátu AIXM. Nástroj využívá ztrátové a bezeztrátové kompresní metody. Obecně platí, že při použití bezztrátové komprese nástroji ušetří asi 90% celkové velikosti vstupního souboru. V kombinaci se ztrátovou kompresí se očekává dosažení ještě lepších výsledků.
