Original Abstract

This paper deals with the usability of pairing based cryptography on smartphones. Pairing-based cryptographic schemes can offer many advanced cryptographic primitives such as privacy protection, identity-based encryption and so on. These schemes are used to secure services and applications that may run on hand-held devices. Our results help to clarify whether these schemes are suitable to run on current smartphones.

Tento článek se zabývá použitelností kryptografie založené na párování na současných smartphonech. Operace párování v kryptografických systémech může nabídnout mnoho pokročilých kryptografických primitiv jako je ochrana soukromí, šifrování na základě identity a tak dále. Tyto schémata se používají k zabezpečení aplikací, které mohou běžet na chytrých zařízení. Naše výsledky pomáhají objasnit, zda tyto kryptografické systémy založené na párování jsou vhodné pro aplikaci na smartphonech.
