Original Abstract

In this paper, a computer-aided diagnostic (CAD) system for the diagnosis of benign and malignant liver tumors from computed tomography (CT) images is presented. The research aims to develop an automated way to extract suspicious regions of liver area in the scanner image to the abdominal area, this research uses a new method for extracting the liver area of the scanned image for abdominal area automatically, depending on the use of connected compounds numbering algorithm CCL, in addition to the use of data collection algorithm FCM to extract suspicious regions of the extracted area of the liver.
