On the project
DP-LIBS is a widely adopted method to overcome the sensitivity shortcoming of conventional LIBS. The proposed project is a novel approach to clarify the signal enhancement mechanism in DP-LIBS. The goal of this work is to investigate the correlation of signal enhancement with excitation energies of spectral lines and to explain the observed trend through plasma characterization. The results will significantly contribute to the fundamental understanding of DP enhancement, thereby improving the usability of DP-LIBS in various applications.
