On the project

After entering the blood stream, NPs are immediately covered by hundreds of plasma proteins. This is the reason why NPs based methods of drug delivery show good results in vitro but struggle in vivo. To avoid this problem, the protein corona can be formed in advance on the NPs surface. The aim of this project is to examine the completely new approach to corona formation detection using laser ablation and bring better understanding of the interaction between the laser and the NPs-protein system.
