Nanostructured titania doped with silver nanoparticles for photocatalytic degradation of endocrine disruptors in water

On the project

This proposal aims at removing novel persistent organic micropollutants, namely endocrine disruptors, from water via new technological concept based on smart combination of nanostructured TiO2 layer and silver nanoparticles. The main goal of this project is to create highly effective TiO2/Ag NPs photocatalytic system in visible range and evaluate its efficiency on complete demineralization of very stable and poorly degradable EE2 hormone in water.
