Cílem projektu je podpořit zastupování České republiky ve výkonném výboru AIVC (Air Infiltration and Ventilation Centre), jehož je ČR členem od roku 2004. AIVC jako tzv. Annex pod implementační dohodu Energy Conservation in Buildings and Communnity Systems je řešen v pětiletých periodách, počátek je v roce 1979 a jeho činnost jako informačního a diseminačního projektu je obnovována každých pět let. V současné době pokračuje další období od 2010 do 2014. Jako členský stát má ČR možnost se podílet na koncepčních řešeních větracích systémů v budovách, zejména v období, které EU nazvala strategií 20-20-20 (viz kapitola 4. Metodika řešení) do roku 2020

The goal of the project is to support representation of the Czech Republic in the steering committee of the AIVC (The Air Infiltration and Ventilation Centre), of which the Czech Republic is the member since 2004. AIVC as an Annex No.5 under the Implementation agreement Energy Conservation in Buildings and Communnity Systems is operated in 5 years periods, beginning of which dates to 1979. AIVC activities as information and dissemintaiton center are renewed every 5 years. Currently, new period from 2010 to 2014 continues. As a member state, the Czech Republic has a possibility to share conceptual tasks focusing on ventilation systems in buildings, namely in the period called by EU as a strategie 20-20-20 (see also chap.4 Metodika řešení) until 2020.
