BUT Alumni Portal: Stay Connected, Grow, and Network
Brno University of Technology (BUT) is launching a new unique platform for its graduates – the BUT Alumni Portal. The portal aims to maintain and strengthen relationships between alumni and BUT, provide them with opportunities for professional and personal development, and offer a space for networking, sharing experiences, and professional connections. The Alumni Portal makes it easier to meet former classmates and helps establish new contacts. It offers graduates access to lifelong learning opportunities, technological resources, and engagement in the university’s social and cultural events.
The Alumni Portal www.vutalumni.cz is here for everyone who wants to stay connected with their alma mater. It provides a complete overview of consulting services, educational courses and programs, alumni benefits, and ways to get involved in university activities across all faculties and departments. It is also an opportunity to connect with industry experts and classmates. Plus, it offers many other interesting and up-to-date pieces of information and useful links. Everything clearly organized in one place.
For BUT, alumni are a valuable part of the university. They are natural brand ambassadors and a respected source of knowledge and expertise, which can be used to continuously enhance the relevance of educational programs and the readiness of fresh graduates for the evolving job market. Through the portal, alumni can also become co-creators of its content by suggesting additional interesting material, such as themed platforms, podcasts, professional communities, or success stories of alumni.
Registration for the BUT Alumni Network community is very simple and is available in two versions – with or without verification. By registering, alumni gain access to all sections of the portal, including the alumni network, where they can connect with their classmates or other inspiring registered alumni. “With verified registration, alumni also gain instant access to exclusive alumni benefits – special offers on educational programs, courses, and services. These include, for example, MSc and MBA programs, professional consulting and advisory services, access to the university’s technological infrastructure including unique equipment, space rentals, or even priority participation in BUT events with limited capacity,” explains Sylwia Říhošková, Communication and Alumni Relations Specialist at BUT.
Registration is also an opportunity for expanding networking. Registered members can attend expert lectures and meetings with professionals from various fields. These events provide a unique opportunity to broaden one’s horizons, gain new contacts, and stay informed about current trends not only in technical and scientific disciplines.
