BUT opens second round of the Internal Grant Competition for students of 1st to 3rd year of doctoral programmes
Brno University of Technology opens the second round of the Internal Grant Competition for students in the first to third year of accredited doctoral study programmes.
Through this annual research grant, whether individually or in a team, Ph.D. students will develop skills in leading a research grant and possibly a team of colleagues. Thanks to grant investigation, students will also have the opportunity to expand their competencies for work in science and research. New experiences should also subsequently increase the chance of success when submitting scientific project proposals to national and international competitions.
Successful investigation of a student grant includes, among other things, research or educational activities abroad (e.g. internship, summer school, research stay, active participation in a conference), which can be implemented in the EU and outside the EU, or educational courses within BUT. The scientific support of the research grant will be a mentor.
The competition, evaluation and investigation of grants will take place in English in the Apollo information system.
The period for submitting grant applications runs from 15 September 2021 to 20 October 2021, with the expected start of grant investigations from 1 January 2022.
