This paper describes an acquisition system used for experimental measurements on isolated animal heart in cardiology research. The system enables simultaneous two-channel recording of heart signals, real-time filtering, displaying of acquired signals and controlling of a light source. The virtual instrument is programmed in a graphical programming language "G" in LabVIEW programming environment.
