The purpose of this paper is to develop a method for the construction of solutions of linear discrete systems with constant coefficients, with pure delay and with impulses. Cases of only one impulse focused in a given interval and impulses acting at all points of a given interval are considered. Solutions are expressed by means of a special function called a discrete matrix delayed exponential.
