A 2nd-order universal filter, utilizing CDTA (Current-Differencing Transconductance Amplifier) elements, is proposed. These elements, having pairs of current inputs and outputs, enable an easy synthesis of current-mode filters. The procedure of high-order filter synthesis and results of computer simulation are shown.
