Originální abstrakt
This topic is nowadays becoming a crucial issue in agriculture, water management and nature and landscape conservation. Soil is an important component of the environment, and influences both the quality and the quantity of the foodstuffs that are produced. Soil provides nutrients for plant growth, which is necessary for both animal nutrition and human nutrition. It plays an important part in recycling and detoxification of organic materials and in the cycles of many elements. The proposed solution consists in an evaluation of the non-production functions of soil in a particular territory according to selected, usually unchangeable, soil properties on the basis of a proposed rating method.
