This paper reports preliminary results of our research, which has been dealing with dielectric relaxation in glycerol exposed to low temperatures (currently down to 223 K) for a protracted period of time (currently up to 19 hours). The objective of the research is to obtain more detailed data on relaxations in glycerol and subsequently to develop a concept of the microscopic nature of the dipole orientations.
