The improved heat insulation properties are nowadays achieved by producing cellular brick body using direct treatment by the addition of burning admixtures. In our country mostly wood sawdust in the quantity up to 30 volume % of the raw mixture is used. An increasing lack of this material forces the producers to look for an substitute. A suitable substitute seem to be different waste materials. The aim of the paper is the monitoring of the influence of waste from production of cement-bonded particleboards in comparison with the effect of wood saw dust for different types of brick raw materials.
