This article is focused on the carrier tracking and symbol synchronization of the FSK signals. The analysis and discuses of the digital Costas loop is presented. The digital quadrature receiver with special digital signal processing circuits (HSP50110 - Digital Quadrature Tuner and HSP50210 - Digital Costas Loop) was proposed for the detection of many modulation signals. This receiver can be applied for digital detection of the AM, FM, PM, ASK, FSK, PSK, QPSK, OQPSK, and 8PSK signals. Setting of the detector parameters is configured by, which is used as target system for data receiving too.
