In this paper, attention has been given to the absorption properties of air at the pressure of 1 atm and in the temperature range (1 000, 35 000) K. The frequency interval (3.75x1012, 4.5x1015) Hz has been divided into 10 frequency groups. Rosseland, Planck, and arithmetic means have been computed for each of these intervals.
