The presented study is aimed on the ecotoxicity evaluation of selected monomers, additives of polymers and catalysers. In our study following substances were ecotoxicaly tested; monomers: 1,1,2 trichlorethylene, 1,1,2,2-tetrachlorethylene, triethyleneglycoldimethacrylate, acrylamide, 2-hydroxyethylmethacrylate; additives of polymers: 2-Br-5-Cl-pyridine, 2-Br-5-Cl-pyridine-N-oxide and sodium salt of 2-merkapto-5-Cloro-pyridine-N-oxide and tin-octoate Sn(Oct)2, (catalyser). For the purpose of evaluation of the ecotoxicity of above mentioned chemicals two alternative toxicity tests, Thamnotoxkit FTM on sense organisms Thamnocephalus platyurus and Daphnotoxkit FTM on sense organisms Daphnia magna were used.
