There is a number of methods for the frequency filter design. This paper generally describes the autonomous circuit method and the idea of algorithm development of this method. A flowchart of the algorithm and chosen parts of the source code are presented. Using Matlab the developed program enables to search for autonomous circuits with up to two active elements and four passive elements.
