The article deals with using combined PIV-PLIF system (Particle Image Velocimetry - Planar Laser Induced Fluorescence) for research effervescent atomizer with two-phase flow. The system can measure and evaluate 3D vectors of velocity, liquid phase concentration and mass flux distribution in plane perpendicular to the spray axis.

Článek se zabývá užitím kombinovaného PIV-PLIF systému (Particle Image Velocimetry - Planar Laser Induced Fluorescence) pro výzkum atomizace kapalných paliv, trysek typu effervescent s dvou-fázovým tokem. Systém umožňuje měřit a vyhodnocovat 3D vektory rychlosti, koncentraci kapaliny a hmotnostní toky spreje.
