Electronic procurement (e-procurement, e-purchasing) is one of the e-business areas that covers different aspects and factors of material supply (raw materials, intermediate products, components and goods) to manufacturing or trading company. There are several different methods to implement electronic procurement that could be gradually amended and extended to entire logistic chain from supplier to final customer. The contribution discusses the procurement computer support, individual steps of system development: traditional chain interconnection One-to-One Relationship, One-to-Many network form and simple electronic purchasing. This approach could be labeled as gradual company solution of E-procurement.
