Originální abstrakt
With an increase in the antibiotic-resistant strains of microorganisms, antimicrobial properties have been reported in a wide range of natural products in order to find new sources of antifungal drugs. Plant extracts can contribute to this problem as they are very complex mixtures that contain dozens of active chemicals at different concentrations. Presented work is focused on encapsulation possibilities of chosen plant extracts into microparticles in attempt to maintain and even increase the antifungal activity.
