Originální abstrakt

The present paper deals with methods to determine fundamental acoustic properties of fired roof tiles. The aim of this study was to find out whether the product quality in terms of homogeneity and crack generation may be evaluated on the basis of these methods. Having determined the tile mechanic characteristics and carried out ultrasound measurements, we performed the measurement of acoustic properties. Based on the measurement result analysis, two parameters have been identified to show a good correlation with the specimen structure defects.
