Originální abstrakt

This contribution is concerned with Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS) - mainly with the signal processing on physical layer. The goal is to analyze impact of channel coding on bit error ratio (BER) in AWGN channel conditions. In order to get the required results, the complete graphic environment was created in MATLAB. The block scheme and proposed model of signal processing in uplink direction is described step by step. The simulation results for various spreading factors and coding rate are graphically presented. The graphic environment was foremost designed for education purposes.
