For photovoltaic or others unstable sources are necessary reserve from different basic sources of energy. They have to be faster like gas power plant or batteries. They are able to prevent electric power fluctuations. Authors in the past focused on describing the various technologies that are suitable for this activity. Currently, batteries are the best way for smaller systems. This article therefore deals with the basic mathematical model of battery, which then comes out of a complete system for energy storage in the Czech Republic.
