Originální abstrakt

The paper presents the computation of the magnetic field distribution in a material magnetised by non-harmonic current. The field penetration for half-wave and full-wave rectified magnetising current as well as for general pulsed magnetising current is exactly determined. The validity of precepts presented in school literature and used in training workers in MP and ET methods is discussed.
