The 3D print of metals for orthopaedics applications is a booming phenomenon today. This work contributes to the individual replacements of joints by applying the taylor-made implants made from Ti6Al4V - ELI alloy and the technology of Electron Beam Melting (ARCAM Q10plus). Analyses of the samples sintered in different technological modes respecting their precision, machining phenomena and quality were made. The results confirm an important effect of sample inclination in the chamber when building on quality of the material and its total tensile strength (1,006-1,012 MPa for the inclination angle 45°). The material exhibits a high resistance to machining, expressed in terms of specific cutting forces (1,200- 2,600 MPa), measured for the feeds per rotation 0.05-0.40 mm, cutting speed 48 m/min, depth of cut 1.0 mm and use of coated cemented carbides (in dry cutting conditions).
