Originální abstrakt

Periodically change of light and darkness, as well as different duration of these two states induce in plant a lot of metabolic and morphologic reactions. The plants dispose of specific receptors for receiving radiation signals. The most effective part of electromagnetic radiation in term of plant growing is red part of light spectrum especially wavelengths 660 and 730 nm, then blue light with absorption maximums 370, 450 and 470 nm. Growth active is often UV radiation too, namely UV-A (320 - 380 nm), UV-B (280 - 320 nm) and green light (500 - 600 nm). It was developed modular LED fixture which allows dynamic change of spectral power distribution of light source based on specific requirements resulted during study of plant physiology. The LED fixture is controlled and programmable via PC.
